Dr. Anil Kumar
Dr. Anil Kumar is an accomplished environmental scientist and policy advisor with over three decades of experience spanning scientific research, government regulation, and environmental consultancy. As Director at Perfact Enviro Solutions Pvt. Ltd., he brings a deep-rooted commitment to evidence-based environmental management and sustainable development.
Dr. Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from IIT Kanpur, complemented by an MBA in Disaster Management from GGSIPU Delhi. His post-doctoral research in biochemical sciences was completed at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, USA. He has also received advanced international training in Japan, the UK, Germany, and Sweden on topics such as climate change, e-waste management, and solid waste solutions.
Prior to joining Perfact, Dr. Kumar served as Director in the Department of Environment, Government of Delhi, and held key leadership positions at the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), where he played an instrumental role in environmental regulation, EIA appraisal, pollution control, and climate policy. At Perfact, he serves as an accredited EIA Coordinator and strategic advisor, guiding complex projects in CETPs, biomedical waste management, and urban infrastructure.
His blend of scientific rigor, policy insight, and practical experience continues to shape Perfact’s role as a thought leader in India’s environmental sector.
