Santosh Pant
Santosh Pant is a veteran geologist and environmental expert with over four decades of multidisciplinary experience in applied geology, land use, mining, and environmental consultancy. As Executive Director at Perfact Enviro Solutions Pvt. Ltd., he plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing complex Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects, particularly in the mining and infrastructure sectors.
An alumnus of IIT Roorkee with an M.Tech in Applied Geology, Mr. Pant has led numerous high-impact assignments involving EIA coordination, land use planning, geological surveys, and hydrological assessments. His expertise is deeply rooted in practical fieldwork, data analysis, GIS-based land use mapping, and environmental planning for sustainable mining operations. He has contributed significantly to landmark projects such as the Gondbahera Ujheni Underground Coal Mine and various limestone mines in Meghalaya.
Beyond consultancy, Mr. Pant’s career has spanned entrepreneurship and public engagement through roles in environmental NGOs, soil and water lab development, and policy advocacy. His long-standing affiliations with professional bodies like the Indian Geological Congress and the Mining Engineers Association of India reflect his commitment to scientific excellence.
Mr. Pant continues to mentor emerging professionals while ensuring Perfact delivers holistic, regulation-compliant, and environmentally responsible project outcomes.
